In September 2011 I made the best decision of my life, to get healthy! I was engaged, in the midst of planning my wedding, and realized I wasn't where I wanted to be physically for my big day. So I took charge of my life. Over the course of 9 months, I walked down the aisle 33 pounds lighter, and what I considered to be in shape. But then post wedding life set in, don't get my wrong, I still ate well and exercised a few times a week; but I felt like I was in bit of a rut. I lost the weight, but I still didn't feel like I was quite where I wanted to be.
In January of this year I decided it was time to make another change, I wanted to start lifting weights! I did a program I found online for 12 weeks.Though I got little bit stronger, I still wasn't seeing the results I was shooting for; I didn't know what I was doing wrong. The week I finished my program, Fit2mass was beginning. I got in contact with Lynn and learned more about it and decided it was exactly what I needed. Detailed day to day meal plans tailored to a woman is what really interested me, too often weight training things you find online are made for men. And as it turned out the area I was lacking in was food! My brain was stuck on "weight loss" mode and I wasn't eating NEAR enough for the activity level I was doing. Though it was hard to get past that mentality at first, I overcame it and enjoyed being able to feast more!
Within the first couple weeks I was starting to notice results, my arms were looking more toned, by calves were getting shape, my booty was finally lifting! At the end of the 12 weeks of Fit2mass, I was hooked, so much so, I wanted to do it again. So I did, and in 24 weeks my body changed so much, I lost a total of 8 inches and gained 3 pounds of muscle. But my body changed not just on the outside, but inside as well. I have so much more energy, I'm happier, not as easily stressed, and most of all, actually satisfied when I eat! :) Thanks Lynn & Drew for creating this program! I would recommend it to anyone looking to gain muscle!
